Go now, right now, to: http://electro-music.com/~janpunter/play.php/port_8500.m3u
My old pal Cynosure at electro-music.com has created Electro-Music Radio MKII, featuring the best rhythmic / melodic music from the extensive electro-music.com archives.
Can you say, "WOW?" I knew you could!
I tried to do something like this with Satellite 5 on scrubradio.com but I didn't have nearly so much music to choose from.
MKII rocks!!!!!!
(I even heard some AEJOTZ music on MKII.)

Brute swap! Yay!
I just sold my Arturia Minibrute... and bought a Microbrute!
The Micro came out right after I got the Mini and I was sad because I love powerful little gadgets.
I rationalized that the Mini had more controls, despite the fact that I never used most of them.
But forum consensus and YouTube vids hinted that the sound of the Micro might be a tad better.
So I finally broke down and made the switch.
Verdict? Ooh yeah!!! Now we're cooking with gas!!!
This little monster is much more my style.
It gets down to business with much less fiddling while the "Mod Matrix" offers even more sonic flexibility.
Now here's a very weird thing:
It has stiff little keys that seem identical to Microkorg keys.
And for some reason I am more creative on those "toy" keys.
Lately I've been playing the MK MIDI'd to a great full-size keyboard.
Great, that is, but uninspiring.
When I returned to using the crap keys, the ideas came from nowhere.
What the proverbial fuck?
Is it because my first keyboard was a Casio MT65?
I really don't know.
Anyway, I'm ripping up and down the keyboard on this Microbrute the same way.
I simply have more musical ideas when I play MK style keys.
Crazy? You bet.
Everything sounds better to me on the Microbrute than on the Minibrute.
It can't all be illusion.
For example, the fabled Steiner-Parker filter on the Mini was yawn inducing.
The "same" filter on the Micro is crisp and crunchy.
Just add milk!
The mod wheel seems better calibrated, too.
The Mini was gobs of fun, but the Micro is indubitably funner.
Expect an all Microbrute tune, soon.
